According to USA Today, "Texas dominates as a people magnet." That is USA Today's way of saying, when people are looking to make a state-to-state move, my beloved Lone Star State of Texas is a popular destination. Even better, San Antonio is in the top of the list of Texas cities attracting people. (Little wonder to me; this is the friendliest city I've ever lived in.)

Add to the mix that of the top 50 metro areas, San Antonio is ranked No. 1 on Freddie Mac's Multi-Indicator Market Index for having a housing market with a long term history in the Index's "normal" range indicating a stable market. (Texas ranks No. 9. See link.)

Stable housing market, low unemployment, great tax structure, and San Antonian's strong equity in their homes make the City economically attractive to businesses and consumers.
